I'm thinking of ordering one because I like how they look, I'm sure it'll look good on my X but I've never seen one on an X before.

Anyone have one of these already?

that is the one i'm looking at getting!!!

the look i was thinking of doing was mounting my spare on it when it wasnt being used to haul camping gear to set off the safari look :)

I can't believe you blokes like those racks! I have a similar one with a rack sack and I think they look crap. Why don't you get a proper rack if you want to carry a spare tyre and then you will still be able to fit stuff up their. I'm getting a proper rack as soon I have some spare cash. I'd give you mine when I get my new one but I live in Australia. If no one in the States makes one, then there are plently in OZ that make them. They even use the original rails!

I got one, check my sig for pics. A little flimsy but I'm poor so it's cool.

I've yet to come across one with that style that uses the existing railings.

those pics are enough to convince me.

Which size did you guys get???

40x48

or

40x60

or how about this heres the part numbers, the 76002 or the 76003?

please reply ASAP as I'll order one today. :D

I bought mine off another member, so I don't know the part numbers or anything. Looks like you got it figured out though.

The reason I like the rack is that the rails are round, which makes hooking straps easier and less noisy. At first, the rack made quite a bit of wind noise, but I made some custom plastic windscreens and it's much better. The only thing is my mileage dropped about 1 mpg with the windscreens. Doh! Oh well ;)

I can post a pic of the screens if you want ;)
