I've been thinking about performing the lifter clutter fix that's described on the website, but I'm a little hestitant on a couple of things. Last time I checked I don't think they listed the parts list that was needed, are they easy to find and/or figure out? Does anyone have any personal input on this fix, anything at all? Any comments at all are greatly appreciated, as I think that more people than I have one or more of these questions.

Mine is making the same noise with 160,000 miles. How long ago did your start making the noise?

Basically the parts should be readily accessable at your local auto parts store. You are replacing the lifters that push on the push rods that push on your rocker arms that open your valves.

You may need to remove the head so you will need a new head gasket.

All that stuff should be available at Napa or Kragen I would imagine. Or maybe even a good machine shop.

I can't tell for sure, but I believe that the noise started to occur at about 175k miles, give or take a few grand.
