WAY TOO MUCH!

Bring um down to between 30 - 35 psi.

depending on how wide your rim is you might be able to run them at around 40. The guys at my local 4x4 shop reccomended that if you run a 10 inch rim, you should run about 38-42 psi to get the best wear out of them, but if they are 8 inchers you probably need to run about 32-34 like the other guys said.

best way to know for sure, is do the chalk test. IMHO, 38-42 is too high, even with a 15x10 wheel...

50 isnt necessarily to high at all. It depends on the load rating. if it is C range yes but my dad has d range BFG ATs and they are rated around 60 I believe and my buddy has a pick up w/ michelins at load range E and they say 80 psi so check what you have

what it says on the tire is MAX psi for a MAX load. this is not what you run in them.

HEHE,
Yeh, run them bad boys at 80 PSI. It will like U. They should ride hard as stone and prolly last about 8,000 miles.

Keep it between 32-35.

all I was saying was check the rating on the tires. My dads 285/75/16s are too low at 50psi, Just trying to show it matters what your tires are rated at. And I know that is max my buddy runs his truck around 70-72 and has 42K on the tires.
