lately my brakes have been locking up on hard brakeing. it has never done it before. and also if im on a rough road and i have to break hard the pedal will go all the way down and i can feel the bumps i nthe road, like the bedal is touching the road type of feeling in the pedal, i havent done any fluid changes except tranny and the usual oil change, i have 66k on it now. am i in need of a brake fluid change?

from the sound of it, you have something a lot more serious going wrong than you think. I can't begin to tell you what though. I seriously recomend taking your X in and having a complete brake inspection done. Places like Sears will do this for free if you don't want to pay for it, but You need to find out what is going on ASAP.
