hey bros...got a few questions...i want to lift my 93 explorer about 6-7 inches...i was thinking of going with a 4" susp. and 3"body but then thought about flipping the rear axle and getting 4" springs for the front and maybe a 2" body lift..which would be a better choice? Who would know the price in CDN $ for both methods? Does the 4" susp lift come with a dropped pitman arm,new torsion bars and all the hardware needed? Does the 3" body require alot of alterations like gas tank filler tube has to be longer, brake lines, lower radiator hose????

You could do a superlift 5.5 suspension lift and a 2" bodylift. I think the 5.5 is cheaper because the soa will give you 5.5 in the rear. With the 4" they give you 4" lift springs. Less problems with the 2"(no steering extension needed). Pitman arm is included, need to buy longer brakelines. No torsion bars, springs in the front. All other hardware included.

Why do the body lift?
Your suspension choices are:
Superlift
Skyjacker
James Duff
Rancho
and a few others........there is a Rancho system for sale on the classifieds right now for cheap!
Skyjacker has the best lift for the pre 95's if you ask me and many others on this board......they also make a 6" system for the front, then you can use a spring over in the rear and some shackles or springs, ditch the body lift, no need if you like rock crawling....
