About 2 weekends ago our speedometer started doing some pretty freaky struff. At any speed it bounces =/- 3mph which makes it hard to know how fast you are going. When that started to happen the transmission started acting funny also. When you start from a dead stop it doesn't shift into 2nd when it should it takes longer. Also when you cruise at about 25-30 mph it will all of a sudden act like it doesn't know which gear it wants to be in. And when it does that it will down shift with force and then shift into the gear that it's supposed to be in. I know it sounds like major tranny problems but could the VSS be sending a wrong signal to the computer or something making it have shifting problems.
