View Full Version : programming a dead key fob? spotted dogs 10-23-2002, 11:39 AM I have a key fob that suddenly stopped working!@#!. The other I have works just fine...any ideas? ...can I reprogram the dead fob? (Yes, I replaced the battery!). I am just worried that I may bugger up the working one if I mess around with the dead one via re-programming. thanks, peter bippy93 10-23-2002, 01:06 PM Cycle the key on and off 8 times. On the eighth time leave the key forward and push the lock button on 1 remote and then do the same on the other. They should both respond by locking and unlocking the doors. If they do they are both programmed, and then shut the key off. Note.......you must have all remotes that you have, present for programming or they will become unprogrammed after this procedure. |
