They are in summit as well as Explorer Express. oso_polar 10-23-2002, 05:35 PM Get a front bumper!! ;) I already got mine, but no money for a winch... saving for a SAS... Look at Tom Rios truck, you could do the same thing, but keeping your bumper placing the reciever just by the hole in the bumper... a little trimming maybe involved or custom fabrication... Ray Lobato 10-23-2002, 06:17 PM I have a Ramsey Serria Wraparound Winch Mount on My 97. I works quite well. Click on Ray's Truck in my signature to see a picture of it. :) Fischer 10-23-2002, 06:26 PM Ray, Dig the ride man! Also, then couldn't you take it off, mount it to the back? Also, couldn't you take it off for hills? Thanks Blue Steel 10-23-2002, 09:21 PM i've got a hitch and a brush guard on the front. works great. i've been yanked and yanked people out with that front hitch many a time. you can buy a hitch winch mount where you can stick it in and then if you need the winch from the back as long as you have the wiring you can take it off and put it on the rear hitch. Ex95XLT 10-24-2002, 01:35 PM ray can u tell me where u got urs? and the price it was? thanks Ray Lobato 10-24-2002, 04:24 PM I got it from National Tire and Wheel, but I don't remember how much, somewhere between 4 and 6 hunderd bucks. It shipped directly from Ramsey, which has them built by WAAG. I just put up a couple of more pictures of the winch guard in my Registry thread. They are on the last page. |
