I am really lookin for a good truck to ask for-for christmas. I am trying to find the best thing that i can possible for a reasonable price. I looked a the Traxx today..they good? I am wanting to get a 4wd "gas" one. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Tmaxx ones are pretty nice, rustler are nice. and the associated rigs are pretty sweet too

I have two Traxxas products, I have the T-Maxx and the 4Tec, I love them both... Great fun... There are also a lot fo hop up parts availiable for both of them...

My friend has a T-max complete for sale. I think he was asking $250.00 for it. Plus he live in waynesboro so there would be no shipping! Let me know and I will try to get you some pics.

i would say the best one is the tmaxx... it is tried and true... there are a lot of new "maxx" trucks out there made by different manufactures, and they too seem to be pretty decent... here is my traxass tmaxx

well the thing about buying a used one is that i will not have the peace of mind of getting the new 2.5 totally unused ya know. It just seems as if i get a 1.5 for 250 that i might as well spend the extra cash on a new 1.5 that they have left over at a local shop. Thanks a lot though, if he is willing to work on the price a little i may have some intrest. Get back with me and let me look at some pics and get some details.

What does a Tmaxx 2.5 cost (on average), new?

You can get a good stadium truck style nitro rc car for about $300. HPI Rush or HPI MT are good ones. (I've got one of each.) The MT is 4x4, the rush is 2x4. They are much lower to the ground than the TMax style trucks, but they are much faster and much less expensive.

A new Traxxas TMax, last I saw, runs about $500.
