Aloha,
My passenger side power seat doesn't move forward or back. It moves up and down though. I checked the power to the switch and there is. Sometimes the seat will move a millimeter forward or back and that's it. Any suggestions.

If you confirmed power at the switch, the motor or the switch it self has to be the problem. Also check to see that there is nothing underneath in the track physically blocking it from moving ...good luck:)

Aloha,
There appears to be power to the motors under the seat because the motors will move slightly and stop. I pulled apart the switch and there is power. I even lubed the screw type rod on motor.

my drivers seat was doing that when i got my truck, as it had sat for 2 years or so without ever being touched. the whole set-up was pretty well rusted, so i soaked it in wd40, and put a piece of duct tape over the switch holding it forward. i then got in the back seat and pushed like hell on the front seat. it freed it up and it worked fine for a while, but i recently put in a set of non-power seats because my power ones were beat. You might not want to try the force it method, but thats how i fixed mine.

Aloha,
I did notice rust on the two screws. I put WD40 on it also. Got to try that push method. Thanks.
