I'm lost:confused: Doug 11-18-2002, 09:28 PM YEAH WITH A BIG HAMMER!! :hammer: :hammer: Muskrat 11-19-2002, 05:06 AM I tried that:D I have the lock outs off, and the snap ring off, but from what I understand, the assembly should pull out now, it doesn't:( Brian1 11-20-2002, 03:48 PM Have you figured it out yet? What brand are they? Different brands come apart different. Spicers and other stock hubs are harder to take apart because there are nore pieces. Warns, superwinch and other aftermarket ones are easier. For warns, etc. unbolt the dial off. now there is 2 snap rings. 1 on the axle shaft and 1 inside the actual wheel hub. It is hard to see but it is about a 1/4 inch behind the outermost part of the metal hub. I use a pick but a small screwdriver and pliers will also work. Pull that ring out and now the whole inner hub should come out. This goes for the spicers and stock hubs also except the spicers have more pieces to fall out. Hope this helps. Muskrat 11-20-2002, 04:13 PM 2 snap rings, eh? I got the one off that is the first you see when you take the lockout off, but didn't notice a 2nd, I'll look a bit harder:D Thanks Brian, btw, they are stock hbs, I think:roll: |
