I see alot of 2 doors that have the grey step-up bars and fender falre things. Is that normal for just sports? or other trims too? thx.]

the oversized fender flares came on some models of "sports" starting in 97. also came on "eddie bauers" starting in 95, and some models of "XLTs", i think starting in 99? and "limiteds" starting in 99? also.

edit: alec's right about the "expedition" model of "sport" in 95 too ;)

The Sport had "convenience" and "premium" options packages and the flares are part of one or the other. Also 95's had the "expedition" package with large flares.

The step bar (and fender flares) were part of the Premium Sport Package on my 97.

I wanted to take the step bar off, but the GF wouldn't let me. I think the fender flares look a little on the goofy side, but they help keep the idiots in the parking lots from denting the fenders. They have taken some pretty good hits and I'm thinking of repainting them in the future because of the dings and scratches.

My flares look a little big right now but once the bigger tire go under here I think they're gonna look pretty good.
