It would be a cool thing to have though. I lived in northern Wisconsin for a while and it would have been a nice luxury item to have, but if you wear gloves which I always do when it's -5F then it really won't matter. You won't feel the heated wheel too much through a decent pair of gloves.

Once you've tried it, you can't part it. That's all I can say. My dad used to have a '98 BMW 740iL. Fully loaded like HID lights, heated seats, and of course...a heated steering wheel.

One winter morning, I left for school, my car couldn't start and I can't drive my mom's van because she carpools the kids to school so I had to drive my dad's car. Temperature that morning was in the teens so I turned on the heated seats and steering wheel, it warmed up in a few minutes and your hands are warm and toasty. It's awesome. I wish mine has it too.

Wish I could drive until I see palm trees but school is more important. Heh...that's how I get my car. I need to have good attendence record and at least a 3.8 GPA so I can't miss any classes.
