I'd go with the T-Maxx (I almost did). Check out this month's Xtreme RC Cars magazine, they happen to have a review on each of these trucks.

Here, try this on for size...

Price T = $389, H = $419
Top Speed T = 40mph, H = 33mph
Acceleration (0-60ft) T = 2.16s, H = 2.7s
Runtime T = 14m, H = 13m
Reverse T = Yes, H = No
Electric Start T = Yes, H = No
Tons of aftermarket support T = Yes, H = Maybe?

I actually almost bought a T but went with an on-road car instead (see my post).

Good luck!

Ry.

the hpi savage is supposed to be a nice truck... however, its very new, and aftermarket following isnt that big right now, i have an original tmaxx, and wish i had waited to get the new 2.5 -- basically the same, but updated with a more powerful engine......

hpi kits are very good though, there onroad cars are top notch in quality
