It was up between a 2003 T-Maxx and an HPI RS4 3... but when I got to the shop, they happily sold me an Team Associated Nitro TC3 and I'm extremely glad they did! This thing is unbeleviable and I can't wait until the track opens up this summer because I totaly intend to race this car.

.12 Race Engine
Shaft 4WD
Fully adjustable suspension (camber, toe, caster, ride height, etc)
Single Speed upgradeble to Two Speed
Full rubber sealed ball bearings
Associated tuned pipe
Top Speed Stock = 42mph

I love it!

I'll keep this post updated with the progress of this car :)

Ry.

On the left, a 1990 original Tamiya BlackFoot still running today with a host of upgrades. On top, an F150 blown body. On the right, a 2003 original Team Associated Nitro TC3 RTR. On top, a racing Doge Stratus.

I just got an RC10GT, it has CVD's, full metal tranny, stinger pipe, lightweight flywheel.

I was not running a throttle return spring yesterday and one of my batteries popped out after a jump and the throttle opened up on the car and i could not get to it before it threw the connecting rod and damaged the block. Now i am thinkin about gettin a .18 XTM or i might just go with the trustworthy AE .15. This truck hauled ass to begin with, i was running about 28 before it self destructed.

I just got down cleanin the hell outta it and i will get some pics up asap.

Hey Thanks Ga and Jim - I love 'em.

Nice truck Ga!!

I finished breaking in the motor last night so I'm going out today (I'm still off work!) and going to fine tune it in the parking lot. Let's just say stock, this car friggin flys (and I have the carb restrictor still in there until I learn how to drive this beast).

I plan to hop it up a bit but want to keep it as light as possible... switching to titanium turnbuckles and screws, and drive shafts should give me a starting point to add shock towers and what not without adding too much weight. Right now, LOL, she weights only 3.9 pounds!

Have a great new year!

Ry.

I like the truck, but you need a differnt body on the car! Mustang or find an Explorer.

Thanks BM - ya I know about the body but I want to invest the money into some performance parts before I get the new top. Plus, I'm going to crack this one up first!! :)

For Christmas I got all kinds of stuff. I got an associated oval track car (NASCAR Style), we call them 4 cell modified here. It runs a 19 turn 23,000-RPM Custom Hand wound motor. I got a Bolink Legend Racecar. And I’ve had an old (very old) Tamyia Dune buggy type car. I will get pics of all of them up as soon as I can find my camera.

The 4 cell I used to own but after rebuilding it completely I gave it to my step-dad 2 years ago (when my son was born) for fathers day because I did not have time to race anymore. He never used it because after I stopped racing so did he. So this year for Christmas I got all of my stuff back and all of his stuff and some new stuff.

I can’t wait to get this thing racing again.

I'm starting to get back into RC also. For my B-Day in 8th grade, 6 or so yrs ago, I recieved an RC-10 T2 kit, and I immedietley had a whole bunch of upgrades ordered. I went to the shop with my mom and picked out the kit and mods ect. It sat for about the last year or so until x-mas when a friend of my moms wanted to try it out and couldn't beleive how fast it was, especially considering it's a truck.

It's set up more for the street though, b/c I was getting sick of trying to clean the whole thing after off-roading. But a friend of mine gave me Clodbuster tires and rims (which are friggen huge) and I modified the axle openings on the back to fit my trucks Mip CVD axles. It kicks major azz offroad with those tires on the back.

I have 4 motors, a 10 turn, 12 turn, and a 15 turn, and a Reedy "stocker" motor that came with it. With the 10 turn in there combined with my different spur gear and tranny gears it slaughters my friends RC10-GT along with just about anything else it races against. The body is basically the same as an RC10-GT, I painted mine black and purple that fades together, looks awsome.

I want to get another one now, more for offroading like a nitro powered T-Maxx with all the goodies lol. Team Associated, HPI and Traxxas rule lol, I love the Stampede.

Blackmagic, Tamiya has an Explorer kit thats pretty tight, you should get one and mod it to look like your truck lol.

I have thought about doing that. Do they have a Sport Track body too? If so I think I could cut the two in half and make me an 01 sport!

I think there is either a Sport Track kit or body out there, I', like 98% sure b/c I swear I saw an add for one in an RC Magazine.

Most likely it is Tamiya b/c they offer all th kits that are extremely detailed ect compared to everone else. I know they have a 4dr Explorer RC kit, so I'm pretty sure they have a Sport Track kit out there, if you go to a hobby store you can look through a Catalog or maybe go to Tamiya's website and find a Sport or Sport Trac body.

I have the Bolink Sport trac body on my T-Maxx. I always thought it was one of the better bodys for it.
