Hey guys, I don't know where to put this question, so here it goes. My '99 SOHC Sport is having a wierd problem. I drove down to Duke from Virginia Tech last night, 3.5 hours, and my 4 wheel high & low lights started flashing on the dash. Then, I noticed my sunroof and windows would not open, and the interior lights would not come on. I found out that the 'electrical switching' fuse (#26 on fuse panel - 10 Amp) was blown. The wierd thing was, all of these worked as I left town, and the fuse blew on the highway. Today, after replacing the fuse, I noticed my cruise over-revving and acting wierd on the way back to VT. Then the fuse blew again and the symptoms returned (once again, on the highway). I replaced the fuse again, and did not use the cruise for the remainder of the trip, and everything worked fine. It has been A$$ cold here and I'm wondering if my cruise solenoid/motor is gunked up and drawing too much current and causing the 'electrical swithing' circuit to blow? I would think that this would be the problem, except that the cruise still works after the fuse is blown (but the windows, 4x4, sunroof, and interior lights (including map lights) don't work). Anybody have any ideas how to troubleshoot this? (other than don't use the cruise)
