I was just wondering what Ford uses as the torque split from front to rear on their AWD system. Is it a 50/50 front/rear split or what?

I think 65/35 rear/front

Here you go.. straight from Robert:

When neither end is slipping, it does send 35% of the torque to the front end. However, the system is capable of sending up to 97% torque to either axle when it detects slippage. I forgot to add that part in my post above.

According to the 1998 Brochure, AWD can adjust nearly 100 percent to front and rear axles.
