JamminG4Jim 02-15-2003, 11:53 AM 3.75 is what my A/R chrome nuggets are, Ryan. I get my rims from Norm's Tire in Little Canada. They consistantly get me the best price, and can get most rims within 24 hours from a local A/R distributor (Unless it's something unique)... They can swap the tires onto the new rims for you also. Very competant work. just my .02 Jim rocklaurence 02-17-2003, 02:55 PM Yes, 3-3/4 is stock and with those tires should be fine. However, I like the 4.5 with 12.5" tires in order to keep the wheels inside and under the truck. True, theyre more likely to rub but they clear the rear of the front wells better. IMO:redexp: Alec 02-17-2003, 09:59 PM Actually, stock Explorer rims are 4 or 4.5" from what I've seen. Yes, a wider bs (lower number) will risk rubbing the body more. However, too narrow and you risk rubbing suspension components. I'd rather rub body than rub suspension any day. |
