Hey I have a 1999 X sport and I was wanting to know if the mountiner head lite housings would fit the X. Because the mountiner has clear housings and are a lot nicer than the X. Please let me know thanks

Please let me know thanks jimbo74 02-17-2003, 01:19 AM not in the stock configuration... you would have to swap fenders, and hood and all that stuff..... but it could probably be modified to fit... using some bondo or other metal working skills..... Using the mountie's corners and all but just switching the headlights left to right. The corners have the same curve and should fit. Maybe you could then use its(mountie's)headlight panel. I figure if you just swap the Header Panel and Grille you would be good to go with the Mounty Corners and Headlights... The nose is exact outside of the grille and header panel... Someody chime in if I'm wrong... jimbo74 02-17-2003, 02:34 AM i am only stating what has been said here previously on the board.... if you think i am wrong, then by all means, go ahead and try it.... and please post your pictures..... if i am proven wrong, then fine, i can admit that.... it isnt the first time, and iam sure it wont be the last, i just dont want to allow you to get your hopes up.... without knowing for sure that it is going to fit..... cdsl227 02-17-2003, 07:41 PM Too late, I seriously thought about it- because I had a car drop out of the sky in front of me...and SMOOSH!!! He hopped a divider and one lane and landed right in front of me. :D I have to say the X took it like a champ!! Well the Manik Crashbar helped...all I got was a cracked grille, dented hood, twisted bumper- I think the bumper only twisted because I made plates to lift it when I put on the 3" BL. I already got a great deal on the Header Panel and grille for the 01, so I think I'll be sticking with the original looks. Well less the chrome, new grille is painted- I think they look better anyway. But I'd swear if they're not exact- they damn close! Garth 02-17-2003, 07:49 PM Sorry about the bender.
