I'm contemplating buying a 2003/2004 (what ever year they wanna call it) NEW... Explorer and I'm wondering if there are some actual figures that I can lean on y'all for as far as gas mileage on the V-6?

If I can get a few real case #'s... It'd be a big help.

You looking at 2wd or 4wd?? Figure average of about 18mpg w/ 4wd. ~21 2wd, although Aldive has gotten 30mpg out of his 4.0.
