My Airbag sensor is blinking the code 36 (3 times, pause, then 6 times). I own a 2000 XLT.
I'm trying to figure out what this means specifically. I called a Ford dealer but the guy just said that he didn't know "off the top of my head". I will have a spare car in about 4 days to use while it's at the dealer, but want to know if this is crucial enough that I should drop it off immediately and not wait for the spare car (rent one, or something like that).
I don't want the airbag exploding in my face or anything like that, so if anyone knows what the 36 means, I'd appreciate it.
