Can anyone tell me what the difference between a 95 and 96 Explorer is? And why no company makes a grille guard or anything that goes on the front end of a 95...but the make things for a 96. No one makes a life for a 95, but you can find em for a 96. Hell, according to what I've found, you can't even get a larger MAF sensor for a 95, but you sure as hell can for a 96. Any help on this will be appreciated. Thanks.

solution...buy a 96!:D j/k. i've heard people say that grillguards and stuff like that will fit on the front of your 95 with some re-adjusting to where they bolt on underneath. it's been talked about before with the westin safari bars i know. you could do a search and find the threads. good luck

I think the MAF's are the same from '91 - at least '95.. maybe later years too........ maybe.... don't quote me on it :)

yeah, with the grill guards i think its just cause the 95s dont have holes in the frame. my safari bar is for 96+ but it fit perfectly with drilling of the frame

Yes, with grille guards, bush guards, safari bars, etc.........the only difference is that you will need to drill a couple of holes in the frame. Other than that, they are identical.

I assume when you say "life", you mean lift. Any lift for a '96 will work on a '95. There is no difference in that regard.

About MAFs, I am not sure. There may be a difference between the OBDI and OBDII MAFS. If so, a '96 one would not work on your '95. Like I said, I am not too sure on that.
