My Driver's side recliner lever has broken off. The bad thing is every single junk yard I goto has on the whole seat for sale. No one wants to sell me juts the lever. Anyone have any suggestions as to where I can find a replacement?

Thanks

For 2nd gen Explorers, there is a redesigned lever that you can get from the dealer. It is a common problem, there is even a TSB on it. I don't know if the new lever works with the 1st gen seats though.

I would ask the dealer or better yet www.fordpartsnetwork.com You should be able to get the lever separately

These were available from FORD but you had to get the whole mechanism. I forget how much it was ($40- $60). I didn't buy it. I was lucky that my seat was right where I wanted it when it broke.
