If so, was it difficult? Will these stand up through a carwash? Thanks, EliteConcept 03-25-2003, 12:00 PM yep painted it myself 1. primered let dry for one hour then sanded primer and repeated. Let dry for 12 hours 2. 3 color coats, 1 hour between each coat. letting dry for 12 hours. 3. 3 clear coats, 1 hour between each coat. letting dry for 24 hours before installing it should withstand car washes good. i haven't tried it yet. i just installed using the 3m tape included. i wanted to give it at least a week to ahear. |
