Hey everyone. I have a 95 Ltd 4x4 auto. Lately i have been having some tranny probs. My tranny runs fine when you start it and drive it around for a while, but once it gets nice and warmed up if i come to a COMPLEATE stop, when i try to accel, it feels like first is really really slugish....even if i try to floor it it wont accel. Once i get to about 40kms.....i can feel second kick in smoothly and the truck starts to qickly smoothly accel. Now when i come to a stop, say a rapid stop at a light i can hear a clunck.....the tranny shifting to first??? but aside from that the upshifts and downshift in all other gears are fine. Any idea what it might be?????? thanks for any help.

My bros car (Buick) did something like that. A flush has seemed to help so far. Unfortueatly for you (fortuneate for me) I haven't had any problems and I don't have the problematic 1st GEN tranny

I just had the same problem with my 95 xlt 4x4. I spent about $2300 changing my rear end and my tranny only to find that the problem was still there. The problem turned out to be the computer which cost about $300 and took about 20 minutes to change. Good luck
