Please pardon my ignorance in these areas, but I have never had the need/desire to wonder about these things before.

1) What, oh what, are the basket type racks called? I see some of you have them, and they look very useful. I've tried searching ebay, but all I get are luggage racks (I have that). I found one posting here in the fs section, but it was just called a rack. No help there.

2) Back in the day (I'm not saying how long ago that was) you could buy a tent for your SUV - at least I remember seeing them for IH Scout IIs. They fit over the rear and open it up a bit. I'm not a camper, but I'm planning a mini vacation and I thought this might be just the thing. Do they make these for the X?

2) Cabelas.com has the rear hatch tents for about $100.

Yakima's rack is called Load Warrior I think.

Let me know what you find about the tent. Never know Xs had 'em.......I AM a camper!......and I BRING the kitchen sink!

Thanks for the replies! I have found several vendors of both the Safari Rack and the SUV (sportz) tent. Looks like I'll be spending about $200/each which is very reasonable - especially if I use them a lot.
