I'm thinking about either getting 4 RE XXX 15's and running 3000 watts to each sub. I've seen a couple of posts where people have recommended RE but I've never actually heard any stats about them. Has anyone ran their subs in a comp? If so, how are they doing?

Well I don't know any competition stats about them, but a good place to look is Termpro.com. I have a pair of 12 SE's and would reccomend RE to anybody looking for subs. They are sweet sounding and very clean and crisp. RE's customer service is top notch as well. I'm looking to get my setup metered soon, and if I do, I'll let you know how it turns out.

man- your crazy! that would be insane. i don't think anyone on here has run that kind of power with RE in a competition, but i too have heard good things. If your getting a good deal, i say go for it. their specs certainly seem to match up well with other companies offereings

are you sponsored? how are you gonna pull this off. you would need 12,000 watts and amplifiers that are stable down to very low ohm loads?

those subs have 1.2 ohm voice coils by 4 i beleive (correct me if i'm wrong)

Im just curious as to how you would amp these? Thats a lot of bd1000.1s

Well, when you find a way to cram enough alternators under your hood to suppourt that kinda power, give me a call, I've got a system for you to install.

I say do it.... it would be amazing.... just technically very hard to do.
