Anyone know of anybody that does free OBD scans
in my geographic area. I know that their are US retailers that provide such a service and I am curious if any Cdn retailers do as well..
Thanks
Sid

I have seen a scanner that would work on ford at "crappy tire", stop by there, i think it was around 150 bucks - will eventually get one myself, good investment if planning to keep the truck.

Thanks, I had seen that scanner already. I was
hoping to not spend so much money to diagnose
the problem.
Thanks

What stopes one from taking the skanner back after the problem is dianosed?
Another option - try out the "free specialty tool rental" at partsource... Put deposit on the tool, then take it back after done. I have done it few times without any problems.
