The door locks on my 96 xlt will not lock. The switch on the drivers side or on the remote does not work. When i press the lock button on the remote the horn sounds and the theft light comes on. any idea people.??

You mean the alarm goes off or the horn honks once?

The horn honks once. none of the inside buttons will lock the doors either. Is there a relay or something to check, any help would be real cooool! :redexp:

Hmmmm, well, sounds like you have it pretty narrowed down already. I would look in the manual and see what fuse/relays control the locks and check them. The computer is getting the signal to lock the doors if the horn honks once when you push the button twice. Does it sound like its trying to lock the doors? Like the sound it makes when you lock the doors when they're already locked?
