View Full Version : Capacitor question...need help ASAP MO_GUY 04-07-2003, 12:55 PM I'm hooking up a friends stereo and was just wondering can I run my ground wire for the amp FROM the capacitor's neg. post or does the amp have to be ground seperately? Nate1 04-07-2003, 05:02 PM Ideally you want both grounded in as shorts as possible, but if you can, go with lower guage (mabey 2?) wire from the cap to the ground. If you're drilling a hole or using an existing bolt, file and sand down to shiny bare metal. You know like you keep stock wiring for deck only upgrades and upgrade the wire to speakers when you amp... |
