I searched for any thread with information but couldn’t find any thing on air coming threw the vents when it's supposed to be off. Maybe I'm typing in the wrong words to look up?

My 94 sport is letting air come threw the vents when the blower and duct control is off. Please help.

Put it on Max A/C. That closes the vent.

mine comes out thr floor when its on vent kinda sucks using a/c

Besides putting it on max ac is there another way?

I think that's probably the only way to "fix" it unfortunately.

I guess it's just a first gen quirk..

Not sure if the 1st gens were vacuum actuated or not, but it could be that. If it's old fashioned cable pull to change positions, then the cable itself might be stretched or out of whack and isn't moving the thing to the right postion for Off.
