Was cutting out the old grill a pain in the ass?

nope not really......i used a grinding disc on a low speed drill to get the bar that goes horizontal and then a hacksaw on the rest

Hey Moe!! Looks killer dude, the billetlooks geat on our trucks. nice work!!!
I thought cutting was a pain, I used a roto zip and a cutting wheel. I installed the Trenz and I think that I had a lot more cutting to do.

If you don't mind me asking... how much and where did you get it? Is it available for the one on the bumper?

He got it from 4WP for something like $49 or so.

That doesn't look half bad, Mo. And damn, you live in the middle of no where.

i ordered my steeel horse billet grille for my '98 X, but when i found out i had to saw out the original grille, it made me a bit hesitant to install it. ya know cause once i cut, its over and i cant go back ya know... i ordered my grille from truckperformance.com for only $45.

Also another concern i have is the number of horizontal bars that make up the steel horse billet grille. My grille contains only 10 horizontal bars. im not quiet sure how it's gonna look until i completly install the grille but im sure other companies have more horizontal bars. how many horizontal bars does your grille have?

yea i was also considereing just painting my grille black because its fading and looking funky gray.
