Ok, I tried using the install instrux http://www.explorer4x4.com/overhead.htm
but the wiring does not seem to match. Did they change the colors in the 99 model? Can someone just post the color/functions? Thanks

You said your wire colors don't match??? Are you talking about a factory wire harness that runs through the body, or the wires and plug on the console itself? The console wires are just mostly black and white if I remember correctly. I did not have a factory harness so I had to run my own wires through the body. During your search you should have run across some of my inputs from my install in several threads. I listed what wires/positions I used. I used the picture diagram that is in several of the threads as a reference. Just use the picture of the plug and the location of each wire in the plug as reference to what it does. I had to cut off the console plug and run my own harness. I tagged each wire as I cut it from the plug, soldered in my own long wires, and ran them to the proper hookup locatons.
IF this is what you are talking about, I hope it helps, if not...I took my best guess! If you have questions about the wires or plug, post here and I can try and pull out my diagram I used. I printed out that color diagram and wrote my own wire colors in place of those "orange, brown, blue etc. wires.
