I have a 95 XLT and the o\d off light is blinking , what does that mean?
also the truck is not moving like it should it will move but sometimes the will move normal but then it will rev up to 5000rpm and still move the same speed, then drops down to 2000rpm , and it no longer goes over 60mph. i have had my x for 3 years and i have gone through 3 trannys (brand new) what am i doing wrong, and it does not seam like all the other times i have blown the tranny this is somehow diffrent....please advise?

Don't drive it anymore until you can get to a good tranny shop. Sounds like your torque converter is shot; hopefully that's your only problem and the tranny itself is fine.

If you've gone through many trannies in a short time then it sounds like something is wrong. Who was doing the repair work?

Qualilty Transmission in taunton ma has done all tranny work.

Doesnt sound so "quality" to me..... look for a shop who gives a warranty. Many shops around here offer a 5 year/ 100000 mile warranty on their work.

did they replace the torque converter with the tranny?
If not, that's probably your likely culprit
