Hey everyone, I have a 98 explorer sport i got the cruise control settings on my steering wheel.

2 days ago i noticed my horn for some reason quit and then today on the interstate i tried to put on cruise and it dindt work so is therea fuse that controls the steering wheel components ?

and then about 3 months ago my washer fluid pump quit too is there a fuse for that as well ? seems like the electronics are going out one by one

I assume the cruise control has a fuse. The fuses are to the left of the steering wheel, where it is normally covered up by the closed door. You can get a small fuse kit with the light up tester/puller for a few dollars.

Yea if your talking about the fuse panel thing on the side of the dash board i know where thats at but the owners man. says nothing about a fuse for cruise or the horn the horn only has a relay theres got to be some reason why both of them would stop working at the same time

Have you checked in the power distribution box under the hood?

I'm not sure that there is a common fuse for all the steering wheel components. However, they may share a ground.

the horn on my 86 Bronco2 has a fuse for the horn.. I believe it was a 5amp
I blew it twice installing my aftermarket steering wheel

so I would assume the Sploders also have a fuse for the horn/steering wheel buttons
