Hello
My wife's 96 sport is leaking from what appears to be a breather on the front diff, is this
common? What I don't understand is that it's summer and not being in 4WD why would it be
spitting now.

My 96 is also leaking, but from the seal, very slowly though, maybe you just had high level of oil in your diff, and the summer heat made it expand a little, thus the little overflow.

I'd just keep and eye on it for the next couple days, see how fast it's leaking. You could even put a piece of cardboard under the truck to gauge how much is leaking.

thanks for the reply, I've put about a pint in it
twice in about 3 months. It seems to be blowing
out of the vent tube.
