It's not broken, it's being built. I pulled the photos off of another forum I'm on. Thought you guys would like to see it. The other forum the guy is saying it's fully caged front to back but all tied into the body and frame. All the tubes are hidden behind panels and above the headliner. It's sitting on 35" BFG projects on 17" rims. The name of the shop is Curry's (not like currie axle...) I posted to find out where the shop is located. Any other questions you want me to post?

Yeah yeah, it's definately not mine!!!! Jim you saw mine about 2 years ago at t-haven. I was the guy with the golf cart. Mine is about 2 weeks from having a completely new front end on it again due to a slight accident in the dirt... I can't wait to get it going again!!!! My front end is nothing like that... Just cut and turned TTB widened 4", camburg heimed radius arms, custom buckets, eibach coils, Bilstein 9100 2.5" resevoir shocks, Bilstein Air bumps.

That thing would DESTROY mine!!!!

where did the tubberware go on the side? It doesn't look it's there. I know that it could be painted over but it still looks like regular rockers.

It's suprising to see that they're using the stock front axle and stock CV shafts. I would imagine they'd limit wheel travel, and probably not hold up to long to all that abuse. But otherwise that's a killer lookin truck. :)

that shaft actually looks modiifed, but i do have to admit, it does seem odd to use an ifs system like that... they already did all the work of removing the torsion bars and converting to a full on coil over design..... the way that suspension is setup is much lie a 4x2 prerunner type with a hole through the spindle for 4x4...... very untradional, but still very cool as well

I'm guessing the trac-width has been widened and they machined down the axles and sleeved them. If they did it right the axle will be strong enough. I totally agree though about the CV's you'd think they'd bump up to a 930 or a 935 even. Although I doubt this is in 4WD often and I doubt it crawls often!!! The front end is probably just a "convenience" for getting unstuck and running in dunes and silt!!

And not to sidetrack it but on the top photo on the right side in the background. Can anyone tell from that tiny shot what the dark colored truck in the background is?

Alot of the Baja trucks are running 4wd now, They aparently handle alot better in the turns and accelerate better as well. I'd doubt that its only used when they need it, seems like alot of work for occasional use. Though i noticed it looks like something on the CV shaft is welded. I wonder what they did there.

All I can say is wow!! And as for the tupperware from the engine shot it looks like the fenders are fiberglass.

But maybe I'm wrong.
