I just bought Wiring kit for my hitch. The instruction said that I need to disconnect battery positive lead before installing the kit. Just wanna make sure that this will be ok and wont bothering my stock keyless entry (w/ remote) on my X.

what kinda wiring are you doing...installing a brake controller? when i did my trailet t-connector, i dodnt have to disconnect my batt, but if you do it shouldnt affect your remote one bit...your vehicle's keyless has a backup.

no prb. i will be keeping an eye because i have no idea how to do a brake controller....but as i said, your car's keyless has a backup. just dont levae it okk for an extended amount of time (ie 24 hrs max)
