Heath 08-15-2003, 06:08 PM SHIT... I saw some 52" military tires on ebay a day or so ago... But those 49"s are sure impressve.. james t 08-15-2003, 09:27 PM would take a bit more fender trimmin' to get those on the early bronc.... Dana44 would be crying out in anguish.... Rx4phun 08-15-2003, 10:47 PM i can see the theards now. "can I fit 49s with a 3"bl and TT?" How much trimming? haha Those things are absolutely beautiful. I wish I could afford them and a ride to put them on Gary y3kbuddy 08-15-2003, 11:23 PM hey i would like to see someone photoshop that on an X. Redrig 08-15-2003, 11:53 PM hey i would like to see someone photoshop that on an X is this close enough Crankcase 08-15-2003, 11:54 PM Originally posted by Rx4phun i can see the theards now. N2MUDN91 08-16-2003, 01:58 AM I have that exact same picture in My Pictures, I think im the one that did it.............. Yup, all mine. Anybody else got them on an X yet (photoshopped) ? Lets see it Redrig 08-16-2003, 02:00 AM sorry i didnt remember you i communicate with alot of people. thanks again for doing it. JDraper 08-16-2003, 07:46 AM Hmmmmm, wonder if my stock Sammy axles would hold up to those :D They are a beefy 3/4" in diameter  Hartman 08-16-2003, 08:23 AM That isn't Char is it... Black Magic 08-16-2003, 08:41 AM You could actually use a set of 30" rims and still have plenty of tire with that Outter Diamater. Rick 08-17-2003, 12:57 PM Originally posted by Hartman That isn't Char is it... Nope XplorerKid 08-17-2003, 01:34 PM Oh Ricky...... heh j/k but seriousely Rick tiem for more lift ??? That would be awsoome what size you running now ? could you fit those? PEACE Mike 08-17-2003, 02:02 PM i can see those on ricks truck.. Bashman 08-17-2003, 03:16 PM Rick would have to seriously air down those to get the great pumpkin into his garage though. As he stated in another thread that there is just over an inch clearance for the truck now and that's on 35s. But still, it would look cool. IAmTodd 08-17-2003, 03:24 PM Originally posted by Rx4phun i can see the theards now. "can I fit 49s with a 3"bl and TT?" How much trimming? haha Those things are absolutely beautiful. I wish I could afford them and a ride to put them on Gary You could prolly do it on jefe's truck if he had a BL :D Rx4phun 08-17-2003, 05:57 PM yeah either him or Cory could make them fit. Jefe might need a bit more trimming though IAmTodd 08-17-2003, 06:04 PM Jefe might need a bit more trimming though Nah, well, maybe a little! Rx4phun 08-17-2003, 08:23 PM i wonder how many feet it would take before the IFS fell apart IAmTodd 08-17-2003, 08:58 PM LOL So how wide are those, and what size rim? 20? 2001ExpSport 08-17-2003, 09:07 PM Those are the new Super Swamper IROK muds...very cool tire....very too big for my truck. Sizes are 21x49x17 & 21x49x16.5 Next to it is a 19.5x44x16.5 Bogger See prices here! (http://209.240.4.82/acb/showdetl.cfm?&DID=48&Product_ID=1832&CATID=10) Limited Ex 08-17-2003, 11:21 PM $510 for 1 tire! Better start searching the couch for change......:p IAmTodd 08-17-2003, 11:35 PM Originally posted by 2001ExpSport Those are the new Super Swamper IROK muds...very cool tire....very too big for my truck. Sizes are 21x49x17 & 21x49x16.5 Next to it is a 19.5x44x16.5 Bogger See prices here! (http://209.240.4.82/acb/showdetl.cfm?&DID=48&Product_ID=1832&CATID=10) so thats 21 inches wide on a 17 inch rim and 19.5 inches wide on a 16.5 inch rim? xxblackxx 08-18-2003, 01:38 AM you'd probably need some rockwells to handle that big/heavy of a tire combo. Then again, those would weigh more than the truck..... I doubt anything short of atleast a D80 from a e350 or something would handle one of those.... roasting bearings would be the least of your concerns with a smaller axle. Heath 08-18-2003, 02:21 AM yeah, just wait until you get the bill for the shipping too!!! Truck Freight only I'm sure... I can't imagine the UPS guy rolling those out of the back of the truck!!! JTX 08-18-2003, 02:26 AM I was thinking of getting a set. How much trimming would i need with a 2 inch lift? Also what would my top speed be with those and 3.73's. LOL :) Rick 08-18-2003, 03:10 AM Think I could fit those on some stock Explorer rims?? Maybe with a wheel spacer for clearance?? Would a torsion twist be enough lift with an add-a-leaf in the rear?? IAmTodd 08-18-2003, 09:07 AM Originally posted by JTX I was thinking of getting a set. How much trimming would i need with a 2 inch lift? Also what would my top speed be with those and 3.73's. LOL :) Top speed I would say would be 200mph, time it would take to go that fast, 48 hours :D NOTAJP 08-18-2003, 09:57 AM Hey, I've got 17x10" rims. I think I could weld up a 6" body lift. I wonder if anyone makes some 32.56:1 gears?.... N2MUDN91 08-18-2003, 11:08 AM If i got the duff 2.5..... and a 3" body drop....... could i fit these little things ? or maybe i could tub out the rear end........... 2001ExpSport 08-18-2003, 05:50 PM ..ignore this nothingness.. 2001ExpSport 08-18-2003, 05:51 PM Originally posted by IAmTodd so thats 21 inches wide on a 17 inch rim and 19.5 inches wide on a 16.5 inch rim? width x diameter x rim size Jefe 08-23-2003, 01:43 PM Originally posted by IAmTodd You could prolly do it on jefe's truck if he had a BL :D Well, now you all know what tire I'm planning to run with my SAS. LOL Still need to engineer the retractible step ladder to get in to my truck though :D Premier 08-25-2003, 11:27 PM Only thing that would look even remotely good on would be an Excursion or an old school Burb. I was too busy looking at the girl. lol Yeah and i guess the Rango was nice too. ;) Limited Ex 09-07-2003, 04:30 PM Is that Durango hers, or is she the one who built it? GaSouthern1 09-07-2003, 04:37 PM sheesh, someone delted my post. That thing is nice, will it ever go in the dirt or is it all show Rick? Also, what front axle is on that truck? Rick 09-07-2003, 05:36 PM The Durango and the huge Ram I've shown before both belong to a guy who is about 65. He drives them daily and he just likes big trucks that are built well. The young lady works at FST in the office. Limited Ex 09-07-2003, 05:45 PM Originally posted by Rick He drives them daily and he just likes big trucks that are built well. So most likely neither of those trucks will be "used"? :( rocket 5979 09-07-2003, 06:38 PM Man i think i need that YOUNG LADIES phonenumber. lol. She is a little hottie. And the durango is cool too. But i think those tires are just to big for the durango. I mean it may be built to handle it but they just look unproportional. section525 09-07-2003, 06:39 PM Originally posted by rocket 5979 Man i think i need that YOUNG LADIES phonenumber. lol. Maybe I should ask if I can come and see it!!! Limited Ex 09-18-2003, 03:41 PM Man thats a big truck. But from the looks of it, he has very little tire clearance in the rear. I think it would look better with some cut-out flares:) 96XSport 09-18-2003, 06:02 PM Make your X the SUN at NIGHT! http://images.cardomain.com/member_img_a/418000-418999/418593_29_full.jpg Robb 09-18-2003, 06:08 PM [QUOTE]Originally posted by 96XSport [B]Make you X the SUN at NIGHT! And I think you get what I am trying to say by that. 44's 49's. I thought the set of 39.5's I saw to day were just outragous. (The amazing part is they were 39.5x15 R15. That's right R15. What the... I thought. addkev 10-18-2003, 07:45 PM I take the "fingers" are to all the folks that doubted he could do it. That's awesome, and here I am trying to fit 33's. Nicaraguense 10-19-2003, 12:55 AM ¿Did yours feel anemic when you put those 33's on? Mine feels like it is sort of with 32's (4.0 SOHC) I just hope I can afford a chip soon and that that chip will restore most of my power and MPG's. They say it is supposed to make a huge difference. addkev 10-19-2003, 04:33 AM A chip is definetly cheaper, but you can do anything with gears. I would save up for gears before buying a chip, especially with gas prices the way they are. dgibson 10-21-2003, 08:25 AM Protrucks out here has a Mystery Machine on 44's and they are about to put it on 49's. |
