I'm not sure who owns this rig, but I can't find these rims on any of the wheel sites I've gone to... any ideas?
Ed
udmsvt 08-16-2003, 12:14 AM they are MB rims, but i dont know the model. the owner is on the board somewhere, i have seen other pics.
wilson_nick 08-16-2003, 12:14 AM there is a guy selling those rims here on the site somewhere i can't remember what kind they are take a look at the for sale forum
Redrig 08-16-2003, 12:25 AM i was going to buy them once and for the life of me cant remember the name or where.. ill keep trying to find out

try the first one, the second one goes to a link in the first one
udmsvt 08-16-2003, 12:32 AM yeah, that looks like them too, but the ones in question look like 6-spoke.
Soundguy01tx 08-16-2003, 12:35 AM nah, the ones pictured above are 5 spoke... not 6... i think you hit it with the MB 160s...

wilson_nick 08-16-2003, 12:35 AM that's a sweet deal though 350 for wheels and tires
Webster3 08-16-2003, 12:37 AM That looks really close... the 5 spoke is not much different... they are both nice. Thanks for getting me on the right track!
Ed
udmsvt 08-16-2003, 12:39 AM i found the MB's on discounttire.com
VairKing 08-16-2003, 08:57 AM Thats Lifted95X's truck...PM him...
Black Magic 08-16-2003, 10:13 AM The design looks a lot like the new Cobra Wheels just less spokes. Very nice!
udmsvt 08-16-2003, 10:47 AM i knew i reccognized that rig....but where was that pic taken, lifted is from michigan!?! according to his cardomain site, ther are the 160s...a few different brands label them, his are ultra but are the same as the MBs....thats def him though, i sholdve known by the michigan plates!
actually, one of the pics on his cardomain site looks like it was taken at the same parking lot:

Black Magic 08-16-2003, 11:26 AM Thank you Dectective! LOL you are on top of things. Great job.
udmsvt 08-16-2003, 11:39 AM yeah, thanx vairking for IDing the truck, it was on the tip of my tounge but you "named that truck!"
96xplorer4oh 08-16-2003, 02:22 PM You can also get them @ s.effects.com. There is two different styles for the Ultra 160's. Highly polished @ $168.00 and chrome @ $259.00, both priced @ 15x8. I e-mailed the company about them about 4 weeks ago and the lowest backspacing I could get was 5". So I decided not to. But they look damn good though.
Live from Baghdad, Iraq.
Webster3 08-16-2003, 06:43 PM Yeah, I was wondering what the backspacing was going to be. I'm currently trying to decide if I want to go with some steel AR767's or spend a little extra for aluminum. I'm torn but I think price is gonna win out!
Of course, if anyone has some nice 15x8 rims with a 3.75 bs they want to sell at a nice price.... ;)
Ed
96xplorer4oh 08-16-2003, 09:04 PM Yeah I got to thinking about it too. And steel took my decision over aluminum because if you hit a rock or something hard while you are out having fun and you damage the aluminum one then it is shot, time to buy another one. But if you bend the steel one at least you can have it repaired or anything else you can buy another one and you are not out allot of money doing so. So I would go with steel unless you are buying just for looks only, then go with the other.

Webster3 08-16-2003, 09:32 PM Yeah, that's good advice. I do like the look of the AR767s too, I just like some of the aluminums better. I'll probably end up going with function over looks though. :-)
Here is my truck now:

you might want to check out my web site for some ideas.
Webster3 08-17-2003, 01:20 PM Hehe, that's so funny. I came across a pic of your rig a little bit ago and went to your website to check it out since its nearly what mine will look like if I go with the steel.
Now that I've seen yours I do like it... ours will look like twins when I'm done... only I'm gonna go for a suspension lift rather than a body lift.
Did you go for 3.75 backspacing on the rims?
Ed
udmsvt 08-17-2003, 05:54 PM oh, i have big plans for mine, but not till i finish school. the summer after i get out, it'll be SOA/SAS time with 5.5" in front.
actually, i dont know what the BS is on the rims, i cought them used. if i get my way, they'll be up aofr sale with some 33s soon.
Webster3 08-17-2003, 10:21 PM Sounds like you're going to really do things up. Let me ask you though, do you find the 32's to be adequate for most reasonable off-roading? That's a tough question because there is so many variables, but I guess I want to keep up with my brother-in-law's jeep which is running 33's and a 4" lift. I'm not trying to out-do him... I just want to keep up :-)

udmsvt 08-17-2003, 10:26 PM well, since i live in suburbia and dont get much chance to offroad, yes i guess i would find them adequate. all i have really done with them was go to the sand dunes and they did ok...they dint have alot of tread and i have 3.27 gearing with open diffs (dont worry thats on my upgrade list too, 4.56s and a LS) , but i only got stuck once.
udmsvt 09-22-2003, 07:56 PM ya know, its funny that i just dug up this thread....those were lifted95x's, now they are mine! and yes, the MB and the ULTRA (which they are) are the same! and yet, now both of you have rockcrawlers which i had!
Webster3 09-23-2003, 09:50 AM Weird how those things pan out! Now you need to get your Avatar updated with your new look! :-)

i've tried. i e-mailed rick and PMed him several times but he hasnt changed it for me. i figure, since i will be going up a few inches more soon, i'll wait until then to try again.
BTW, know of anybody with spare tupperware for the drivers side....i need that little piece near the front wheelwell, i lost mine on the highway and it reaked havoc!
96xplorer4oh 09-23-2003, 02:53 PM What year of tupperware are you using? I took mine off and willing to part. Let me know, mine is a 96 and in great condition color is green. I got all 4 pieces.
