i recently purchased a 1993 explorer xlt 4x4 4door,and was planning a beach trip. i was wonderingif 235/75/15 would run in the sand. and what air pressure would work best.i've run on the beach before but had a dakota 4x4 with 33/12.50/15 bfgs.the ex has 235/75/15 bfg commerical radials[was on it when i bought it] i cant afford to change them right now. but advice will be taken gracefully. thanks
anything will "run" on the sand.. but of you will get stuck is another story... all i can say is air DOWN!!!
as far as PSI go as low as you can with out running the risk of breaking a seal.. i go down to 15-20 psi and have never had a problem..
OH and BTW WELCOME TO THE SITE!!!!
