I just thought that I would post some pictures of my r\c car collection:

From right to left is a Hpi NRS4 2, another Hpi NRS4 2, Tamiya TL01, and a Hpi SNRS4 Rally.

This is the Super Nitro Rally. I like this one the best because of it's size and the fact that I can rip on it on and off road.

Those are awesome!! How much a piece are they? You might be getting me into this. I saw a guy with a rally WRX at my college, it just made me want to buy one.

It all depends on what you want. For about $400 you can have a decent setup. Some cars come with a engine and some don't. The Tamiya was the cheapest, it olny cost about 200-250 for the whole setup. That includes the radio system and a upgraded motor, shocks, and a full set of bearings. You can go crazy with these things and they end up costing way to much money.

They have everything you will need. I always recommend getting them in kit form, if it is pre-built or ready to run you wont have a complete understanding of how it is all put togerther untill you break it and have to fix it. It is also more fun IMO to build it, it is like building a model that you can playwith when you are done.
