I am shopping around for a new set of wheels for my wife's Rav4. I came accross this tire for $94 size 255/50-17. Does anyone know if these wheels are any good?

They are good high performance tires for their price. I have some on my car.

They have really good traction (not the best), great wet traction, and have reasonable treadware (for those kinds of tires). Best of all, they are much cheaper than most others in their category.

They may be overkill for a wife's RAV4. They are intended for aggressive driving.

Thanks for the response,scott_gunn. I appreciate it. The wife mostly do highway driving. She will definitely going to like this. :)

I would go with something else for mostly highway driving. These will wear out much quicker than normal tires, and they are bad about following road imperfections - the car is always pulling left or right. They are also loud.

They are good, affordable tires in the high performance category (where all tires have these problems). I think my wife would hate them.

Too late, scott_gunn. I bought them this afternoon. I got my wife 17x7.5 Borbet Type S with 255/55-17 Kumho ECSTA 711 High Performance "summer" tire. She better love these because they cost a bunch! Well, not really, they only cost $965 shipped but shhhhh... :)
