Like my real truck, I usually like to modify em. I'm working on an Explorer right now but I haven't really had time to finish it.
mrboyle 09-13-2003, 01:56 PM I use to be a hardcore Hot Wheels collector (I have over 2000 of them) but I have basically stopped. I also have several 1/24-1/25 scale cars and trucks including NASCAR, NHRA, Stock and Custom cars and Trucks. Next time I get a chance I'll post some picks.
Oh yea, like Hartman, I too love to customize my toys. I'll get some picks of them also.
Mike_J 09-15-2003, 10:12 AM I adore Die Casts, particularly the ones you build.... I got a couple......The Pics are a little grainy due to my crappy $25 Pen Cam (no flash)....but they are still fairly decent..

1971 Mach 1 Ford Mustang- Oddly enough I assembled this one using Liquid Nails and splints off of popsicle sticks...just an interesting bit on that one...

'96explorereddiebauer 09-15-2003, 03:45 PM Great looking cars Mike!! I have plenty more at home. I'll snap some pics of them when I go home this weekend. I generally collect new cars. I don't have any classics. I have a lot of Mercedes-Benzs, 2 Vipers, 3 Corvettes, a Hummer, an Expedition, 2 Explorers, a few Jaguars, and some others I don't remember. I'm planning to get the Cadillar XLR and an F-150 Harley edition. I don't know when but I will get them.
Mike_J 09-16-2003, 12:41 AM Thanks dude. I actually have 2 more cars myself, but they are plastic models. One is the Back To The Future DeLorean, the other is a white 1978 Pontiac Trans-Am. I did not post them b/c they are not die cast. I tend to go for oddball cars for some reason.
mrboyle 11-25-2003, 10:55 PM I finally (after 2 months) got some pictures of a few of my DieCast vehicles.
Maisto SportTrac (looked like the orange one at the top of the page when I started)

This started life as a Hot Wheels. I built everything underneath the body. Has working front and rear suspension.

:p
Paraphoe 11-27-2004, 10:40 AM I have the model '96explorereddiebauer posted, only not the Eddie Bauer version. My X is red, so I bought a couple of bottles of touch up paint to match, and this Wednesday painted the thing red with my airbrush. I also completely disassembled it and painted the interior parts grey to match my interior, and the underbody black, because it was that beige color as the interior of the car. I'll try to get pics up. I'm happy with it, my own mini-me.
Now, how the hell will I go about building a brush guard and PIAAs for this thing...That's the next project.
Critical_Level2 11-30-2004, 08:03 PM I have a harley F-150 with matching bike, a few mustangs, and a couple ferraris, then about 4,000 hotwheels and matchboxes.
