Well I went wheeling with the good ol boys from www.fordtruckworld.com today... Did a trail that I've never tried before... Had a good ol time... Here are a few pics...

Another poser....

This is the dead H2 that we found on the trail... Thankfully he was on an obstacle (unfortunatly one that I wanted to run) so he didn't block the whole way... But he did abandon his rig...

The H2 got a couple of boo boo's... I'm guess this is the reason he left her there... Couldnt go far in this shape...

I'm guessing this one hurt his feeling the most though... Check the pic close, you can see the dents too!!!

I'm still waiting to get the pics of the mud hole from Matt....

Have heard a lot of problems with tie rods on the H2.
The best part of the H2 and you got a close up of the tires! My tires to be exact.

Did he bust that window on the trail or did someone break into the H2?

Hokie - Broke it on the trail... Flex brake I think, I've been talking to the guy on AIM tonight... Found him through a local board...

Derrick - Matt took those pics, I kept my fat ass in the truck...

VairKing - I used to think that about Derrick C's truck, then I saw it in person and the damn thing is blue or was it green??? But either way, it wasn't brown...

If my fat ass had gotten out of the truck, I don't know how I would have climbed back in... That would have been TOUGH...

We went up to Slaughterhouse Gulch on Sat morning, it was snowing and awesome! I almost laid her on her side..........

we need to go together, Joe Deitz and Brett and both almost ready to do some wheeling....Joe's truck has been off the trail for over a year now and Brett..well hard to find the time :)

When did you do your fenders? My unle was like, I saw a red ex over by SW plaza with the same fenders you got....not too many around this area!!

We put them on in June or July, don't remember when for sure... This trail is up by empire... Not a very hard trail honestly, but very pretty, and it was a ton of fun...

That was probably my X that your uncle saw... I live right near SW Plaza and go over there pretty frequently... I see your BII all the time, but I'm usually in my Honda when I see you, never in my truck... Figure if I pull up you'll think its some crazy ass in a white CRX followiing you or something...

Yup, got a little rice in me.... Here is a pic of my old CRX, but now we just have a stock beat up white one...

Heath, that CRX looks nice. Not to 'ricey'. I appreciate the sport, just hate the 'rice' attitude.

The H2 tie rods SUCK. They are as thin as pencils... FST is making a beefy tie rod replacement kit for the H2 I think we need to find that guy and sell him a kit :D

I've been talking to him since last night... He's already been found...

Like I said, the best part of the H2 is the tires, and I have a set. :D

If I had $50k to throw around and needed a big, dumb SUV I'd buy an H2 over a Suburban anyday. The H2 looks like a great donor for a SAS and supercharged 6.0L.

Heath, now you can talk this guy into building it. Nice battle scar too.

figure an H2 would die on the trail, all they are is a gmc suv drive line. people think the H2 is as tough as the H1. which it is NOT. The H2 doesn't sit any higher that an expedition.
While the Gm SUV died on the trail and all the Ford guys made it home, even with heath trying to break his truck. Who's trucks are better built.

I saw the vid of an h2 that snapped the tie rod today, which probably most of ya have seen.

I would think something said to be so good and $50000 would have some friggin lockers in it, but i guess, at least always in my case, its too good to be true.

Have you ever suggested to FST to make a beefier tierod for the IFS Explorers/Rangers? That would go great for the guys that lift theirs with the RCD kit.

I hope he sees this since I know he's probably in Utah right now for over a week.

Seriously. Although i wouldn't take one of those pos's off-roading. Everything good about the Original (H1) they either changed or took off the H2. They literally transformed it into a small bus. lol. That's what you get for giving something good to GM, though!
