I am a student looking to install a 2 or 3 inch body lift on a 2000 explorer student vehicle project. I can't seem to find a kit for that application and I was wondering if anyone out there might happen to have any idea where to find one, i am out of options.

I saw Hoke and got excited, maybe it was another Hokie (but with a spelling problem). Yeah, for your 2000 kit you'll need Performance Accessories #883. Its a 3" body lift for a Ranger but it will work for your truck all except the rear bumper. You'll have to fabricate your own brackets to lift the rear. welcome to the site, and what exactly are you doing for the project? We have a hydrogen powered 3rd Gen Explorer here at Virginia Tech.

Thanks for all the quick reply's. After I looked around I notice this is a pretty popular subject and should have pulled my head out of my a#@. I am a student working on future Truck, its a contest put on by Ford to design a low emisions vehicle, using alternative fuels. The reason we are using a body lift is that we need to fit more stuff under the body without reducing road clearance. It looks like I gots to get a ranger lift kit, with a little jimmying that should work, and just make up some rear bumper brackets.
