I have an '03 Mountaineer 4.6L/AWD. Drivers door sticker indicates trans code 'V'. Anyone know which transmission this is? Thanks

There are two engines available; the 4.0 SOHC V6 and the 4.6 SOHC V8. I know on the 4R70W is means "wide", interms of the gearing of the tranny. Not reall sure what it means on the newer model. |
