Is there a such thing or can it be done? I like dual exhaust, hp, gas mileage gains(minimal), looks but can it be done and still sound like the stock exhaust?

Basically a quiet dual exhaust? Is there a muffler with a single in and dual out but is as quiet as stock muffler is? Or do I not know what I am talking about?

for your 4.0 ohv, you really should just stick to a single outlet. i think a 2.25 piping is the best method. gibson i believe makes quiet mufflers. check them out. try using the search and see if anything comes up for quiet exhaust.

sorry, I forgot to say this is on a 4.7 liter V8 Dakota.

heck yea, more Dodge owners, i too have the 4.7.

Enough dodge talk ;) ...you could always keep your stock muffler and get a ypipe after it, I know that the flowmaster 70 series is fairly quiet as well.
