Last night as I was driving home the engine just shut off?? Pulled over to the shoulder opened hood and removed fuel pump relay..bang it a little replaced it...truck started right up and drove home fine..
This relay would cause that to happen?
I just replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter,O2 sensors,EGR valve, EGR valve sensor,PCV valve.

Yes, a bad fuel pump relay could cause that to happen.
It's a very cheap part, take that as consolation.
Did you hit a huge bump? Sometimes the inertia switch can get triggered too...and this would flip the relay as well.

Thanks...Gonna pick up the relay this weekend.
If the inertia switch was tripped wouldn't I have to reset it? Or might it only trip the relay...
Big Bump???I live in New York...What some call off-roading is normal back and forth to work driving!!! LOL

Yes, you are true...if it was inertia switch then you would have to reset it...I hope getting a new relay fixes it.
I know what you mean about bad roads, we have some bad places here, although I have a feeling they are worse in NY and also I hear Boston is bad...
