Here is the deal. When it is cold and I start my car, It takes a few seconds. But when the car is warm, it starts too easily. Almost as though it is getting too much gas. When this happens, the x runs as though it is misfiring. It only lasts as until i give it a good amount of gas. Any ideas? I also am smelling gas by the fuel filter. I have tried to change, but to no prevail. Why can't i GET THIS DAMN THING OFF. :D

On your first problem I can only speculate, possibly time for a tune up. Plugs and wires.

Second there is a special tool to take those off. These plastic ring things with spring hinges.
Some folk here have gotten them at various auto parts stores.
Do a search and that will yield more info on the process.

In case I have not yet, welcome to the site

I just did a tune up. I also have the special tool to get the filter off, but it won't come loose.
